Actually, a lot of Z1 'sysops' chose to boycott your brand of Fidonews on
their own, not for what is in the snooze itself, but for the constant
barage of everything wrong with the USofA in the echo, not to mention
personal attacks on many sysops here.

You'll have to distinguish between the publication and the echo itself.
You have attacked many sysops here in the echo. To your defense, none of
it was printed in the publication, however.

Is that a question or are you making a statement?

I happen to know that the recipes she has included in her publication are
from her own published cook book, many of them handed down from her
mother. Use to be that you could buy it on Ebay, but I don't know if she's
still doing that.

So what does that prove? Are you in the habit of running all text through
a spelling checker or just your own verse?

Weren't you able to read what was typed and put two and two together and
know what it meant or are you just so proud of yourself that you think
being a member of the Dossche (read: morons) Spelling Police is somehow
something that I should worry about? Unlike the majority of Z2 sysops
here, I don't have a real use for a spell checker. If I worried about my
spelling or grammar, I'd be like you and use a spell checker.

But I think that I'm above that trivial BS...

If you look closer, you will find that 'nay sayer' could be construed as
misspelled too. Depending on your source for true English spelling, of
course.

If you want to have a spelling contest, I can point out every one of
Dossche's, Michiel's and yours for you (and you/they make plenty of them)

Perhaps you would do them a huge favor and teach him how to spell perfect
English. Of course, you would also give him lessons in how to type with
more than one finger.

Spelling, nay misspelling, is something I completely ignore, btw. That is
until the Dossche Moronic Spelling Police just have to use them to make
someone else's spelling a point of contention and/or ridicule.

Have you ever noticed that Dossche's misuse of 'in(word)' vs a properly
spelled word in English - 'an(word)' is derived from being a French native
speaker and a mainland Europeon taught English user?

Not to mention your use of Oxford (it sucks) English.

Speaking in her defense, at least there is always some content in her
publication.

The only complaint I have is in the format, which just isn't Fidonews
worthy. I know what yours and previously published snooze letters were
like and I don't like a sloppy looking newsletter. (I used to publish a
newsletter for the San Diego Camaro Club, so I have a better idea of what
is classy and what is garbage)

Even if her content has nothing to do with Fidonet. Of course there is
nothing wrong with that, since the precedent for it was set way back in
the 1980s...The doddering old fool WD did it, so did Frank Vest, another
fool in his own wright.
