I have renamed the subject of this thread to more accurately
depict the content of your post, which was in essence your depiction
of yourself as the American Taliban of Fidonet.

This is beginning to sound more like your confession.  However,
you did conveniently leave out many parts.  Such as your pretension
of being the "moderator" of this echo, along with your inept and
ineffective attempts to "ban" me and others from this echo.

There is no "schism".  There never was a "schism".  There was, however,
a certain cabul of three amigos from zone 1 who conspired to destroy
the heart and soul of Fidonet known as Fidonews.  Although the three
amigos had absolutely no chance of succeeding in their evil endeavor,
they insisted on trying anyway.  Their first step was to recruit a
sysop (Shannon Talley) who would act as a cover for Ross Cassell...

Ever since Frank Vest appointed Björn Felten as editor/moderator of
the Fidonews you have been jealous.  So jealous that you went to
extremes to harrass and intimidate participants whom you did not like,
trying to get them "banned" any which way you could, including
blackmailing sysops in zone 1 to do your bidding.

And then, when that did not work, you threatened to file a PC against
Steve Asher, a sysop from Australia who refused to suck your dick.

And then, when that didn't work, you tried to blackmail Björn Felten
by making a certain "gentleman's agreement" - the idea being to lock
out Wayne Chirnside in particular from participating in this echo.
No "gentleman's agreement" or "secret deal" is legitimate, especially
in regards to a PUBLIC ECHO.

Your idea of a "gentleman's agreement" had nothing to do with making
friends with Björn Felten, or sharing power.  It was all about a means
to keep Wayne Chirnside (and others) from posting from Steve Asher's
BBS.  After threatening a "feedcut" to Steve Asher, the crafty
Australian turned the tables on you by delinking every single echo you
pollute.  The coup de grace came a bit later, when Björn Felten grew
tired of your antics and tore up your "gentleman's agreement", thus
putting an immediate end to your brief reign of terror.

He never has been.  And probably never will be, as he remains the
one and only AMERICAN TALIBAN OF FIDONET! (although Janis Kracht
and Bob Seaborn might disagree)
