Doesn't matter what you say, your actions tell the tale and will continue to
tell the tale, every single day that you are a member of fidonet. No matter
what you say now.  This is just a lot of hogwash.  It's ok though Michiel,
we've had funnier situations in fidonet over the years <grin>

1) You submitted an application over the phone for a nodenumber indicating you
read policy since you knew who to call to get the nodenumber. I.E, you didn't
call your postmaster for a node number in the Postal Mail office, you contacted
a Regional Coordinator or some other official in Fidonet as explained in Policy
4 to get a Fidonet node number.  That indicates you read the document and
understood what was involved in becoming a member way back then.
2) You have accepted the nodenumber resulting from that application, and use it
every day.  If you didn't agree with this other member giving you a nodenumber,
you would have rejected that nodenumber and never joined fidonet. 3) You update
your Region's entry in the nodelist as defined in Policy 4 in the manner
defined by Policy 4.
4. You've used Policy 4's explanation of how to submit a complaint against
another member.

One cannot reject a document and say that you have no part in it, when you do
indeed have a part in it every single day that you participate in Fidonet :)

I'm sure everyone in Fidonet has a lot better things to do than to read this
silly explanation of your non-acceptance of a document you do accept and use
every day.

No one has ever said that Policy 4 is perfect.  Even those that constructed the
document knew there could be problems down the road with some sections.  That
is one of the reasons that a number of exceptions are built into the document
to be used in those circumstances that require it, and why the document is
still able to be used today, all these years after it's original publication.
