I don't see your point (no pun intended). I have a mailer online that does
both send and receive mail. So, in your view, it must be a point and a
node or, one or the other? Interesting.

I was online at one time but didn't except incoming calls, yet it wasn't a
point, but a node.

But you're now a part-time node (TCc)., making you a point anyway.

Since Bin was away more than he was home, perhaps the 'family' decided to
use the computer and took his system offline so that it could be used to
browse the internet or call local BBSs. It must have been online at one
time or another, else there wouldn't have been any mail to or fro his
node. Yet there was...as witnessed by those in Z6 and some people here.

Since you're nothing but a trouble-maker looking for a place to land,
maybe he had special equipment online that would drop the call if it came
from Z2...not impossible considering the state affairs in China during
that time.

Or should be listed as PVT, which is quite legitimate per P4. The 'point'
systems died out years ago here because of the hassle in keeping track of
them outside of the nodelist...when someone has to maintain a 'point'
list, that's just more work and un-necessary in most everyone's opinion
except for those looking for yet another 'title'...(FTSC chair, RC28,
Region Pointlist Keeper, fidonet naysayer, etc..)

For good reason...that you couldn't stand the fact that you were locked
out made you into a foolish man who acted like a selfish little boy.

Happens all the time, even with my RC. Most of the time I can't get past
a IP in Tennesee which is directly linked to his area in Mississippi (out
of region no less)...
