Which implies that you also haven't a clue how or what guerilla warfare
is.

Take the guerrilla situation in Iraq between 2003 to today, for instance.
Guerilla warfare in that country was imposed on the country by outsiders
from such places as Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia - you get the idea.

None of them were fighting on their own territory, yet they were by
definition fighting a guerrilla war; no uniforms, one cell had little
knowledge of the other cells and so on.

Can you call the insurgents (see above definition) fighting in Iraq,
civilians, when they've been trained at Al Qaida (the camp) facilities in
Afghanistan? When they come from every Muslim country in the world and
even some that aren't, are they civilians after being trained at Al Qaida?

I think not.

Again, you don't know what you're talking about. The above implies a
fanatical sensitivity to it, since the guerillas in Iraq were all fighting
under the same fanatical religious philosophy.

During WW2, there were non-uniformed Americans fighting the Japanese on
the Philipine islands as well as many other smaller islands. These were
the soldiers and civilians left behind when US forces pulled out, who were
on the islands when they were invaded by the Japanese.

They weren't a large force, but enough bodys to keep the Japs busy looking
over their shoulder. When they lost a man or woman fighter, they lost a
valuable resource. Until the US forces came back to take back the islands,
they recruited or joined with the locals in their fight.

This was also guerrilla warfare.
