Roy, when my kid sister comes home from work (in Cincinnati) one fine day - as
she did - and tells me that some nut went into a business a few blocks from her
work and shot several people dead, that's no joke to me. Things like that
simply don't happen in Germany. Period, out.

We don't have to worry whether our relatives will come home alive when they
leave the house for work in the morning. Maybe that's so normal in the States
nowadays that you don't even notice how sad and tragic it is.

Who gives a purple shit about _licensed_ firearms carriers in the States? Jeez,
are you crazy?

Hell, _I_ would NEVER point a gun - loaded or empty - at another person, but
_I_ was raised with guns and know how to use them. Many other people don't. And
unfortunatately, most of those who have guns do NOT know how to use them. Or
simply go nuts and shoot in all directions.

I'm a gun enthusiast, but not a gun NUT. I know when the game is up, and when
public safety takes precedence over gun enthusiasm.
