Not everyone can be an expert on computers like you are. Some people like
their computer to work the way it did the day they took it out of the box.


This Windows Vista version worked just fine from day one. No problems, no
issues.

Just how many `vulnerabilities can occur from day to day? With decent firewall
protection, and running a scan every now and then, a computer should work just
fine for many years.


A computer thats going `on' the InterNet by itself, every time you power it
up, and seeking `updates' without you telling it to, and installing them
without your knowledge until it pops a message box up saying;
`New updates installed, re-writing Registry'......is a computer that isn't
being controlled by the user.


Someone who lets their computer go on the Net and `seek updates'....then
`automatically install' those updates without knowing the computer had even
done so without their knowledge and consent, until the computer `tells' them
that updates were found, have been installed, and their registry has been re-
written, isn't a very smart user.


I like to know what the computer is doing, what the updates `are', `why they
are needed, and what they are going to do to my machine, not to mention what
effect re-writing my registry will be to my computer's overall performance.


Just plain common sense, it seems to me. But then.....computer `experts' may
see it differently.
