The best things in life are free.  Especially a free lunch.

You don't get it.  The taxes you pay go DIRECTLY to pay the US
Federal Budget.  Isn't that great?  No need to worry about having
to pay for food stamps, or for anything else.  Let somebody else
do the spending for you!  Of course, in the event of a shortfall,
the US Treasury might issue Treasury instruments of various kinds
to make up the difference.  What confuses folks is the fact that
the Federal Reserve can buy these bonds (or whatever else you want
to call those Treasury instruments) with money printed out of thin
air.  But that is an entirely different story.

I do not believe many people "get pregnant for the sole purpose
of receiving food stamps and a free ride from the government."
More likely people fuck because it is fun.  Getting pregnant is
secondary.  Besides, being pregnant makes women hungry.  Very
hungry.  Especially for dill pickle sundaes.

Why work if you don't have to?  Clearly, nobody should be forced
to work, as that would be slavery.  Well, almost nobody.  Convicts
can be forced to work.  For extremely low wages.  But aside from
that, I can think of very few examples of who should be forced to
work.  In that light, does the world owe me a living?  You damn
right it does!

What about dear old grandma who can't speak a word of English
and lives in a shack with her granddaughter and eight great-grandkids?
What about cousin T-Joe who is intellectually challenged and only
knows how to play Crazy Eights?  Should we force them to go to work
knowing full well they can never hold down a job of any kind?

How is that a problem?

God took everything away, destroying all that Job had.  And you wonder
why Job took off all his clothes and shaved his head?  Anyway, God
finally made good on poor Job, and gave him twice as much in the end,
even though Job had not done a darned thing except suffer suffer suffer.
