If I say it's BS and you claim that it is true, how can I point you to
something that is IMO, BS? i.e. that isn't varifiable because no such site
exists. OTH, you haven't posted any evidence that makes your claim to be
true.

I'm not employed...you're paying for my healthcare though. When I worked
as a roadside tech here in Texas, I had no insurance except for Medicare.

Insane as in Obama Scare...

You have to be on Medicare to use it, else you either pay out of pocket or
an insurance company pays it for you. This isn't supposed to happen,
(asking a female her age), but are you 65 yet?
>>> needless to say Aetna says I don't need it.

Unless Aetna calls for a 2nd opinion by one of their network docs, then
your doctors opinion rules.
JK> I'm one of those people who have had MS for years, and it's just a
JK> nuisance.
Well, MS is known to get worse with age. Look at MJ Fox and see the
results of MS with aging.
JK> . I have an apt. set up for a second opinion, but it's pretty

Ahhh, there's the reason.

JK> Yep, doc in the network.. My neuro is setting this up the 2nd

Cool. If the 2nd agrees with your doc, then it shouldn't be such a
problem.

JK> Nope, not ours.
Then you have a good doc who's working for your best interests. Same as
mine does.

JK> Nah, Roy.. this is how Aetna has always been,
I had Aetna in California and it was never like that. My employer changed
carriers because their plan was too expensive, while Blue Cross' insurance
plan proved to be better and cost less.
JK> well before Obamacare was passed as a law.
Not exactly, it's a tax law...see recent USSC descision. Even medical
devices are being taxed now.
JK> Our plan really stinks to high heaven.. It's a very small company
JK> and you don't get big benefits at place like that. You really have to

My youngest daughter was hit by a car when she was 3yo. That hit twisted
her left femur and broke the bone. She spent a month on a hospital bed in
traction and Aetna paid every dime of it, while I was in the process of
suing the driver for negligence. She walked with a noticible limp as the
bone was healing and trying to catch up with the right leg. She still
limped slightly at 23yo.

>>> Yes, I do. <g>
>> Apparently not. I've checked them out too and I'm very glad that I

JK> Like I said, it's all according to what you're paying where you live.
I didn't reveal that I was retired or even had insurance.
JK> For us when it comes down to it, it won't be much different than what
JK> we're paying now, but the coverage will be MUCH better, and copays
JK> won't exist.
That's what Obama says, but it isn't true.
>>> We won't qualify until our Employer changes the way things happen

>> How much did your premium skyrocket under Obama-scare?
JK> It's will be about the same cost as we're paying now.. not much more.
JK> It's the benefits that will increase.. dramatically.
8^( That isn't what's being reported by those who have signed up.

JK> Yep.. a little <bg>
A website showing a map of increases and decreases in premiums shows that
NYer's premiums will decline by 14% while Wisconsinites goes up by 80%.
They're not alone of course, as Ohioans will go up 81%, Californians by
62%, All of the rust belt states (ID, WY, NE, MO, IL, IN, KY WV, VA and MD
will go up on average 46%, the highest being 68% and the lowest being VA
at 28%. I can't make out what Floridians will be paying, either 27% or
127% more. Texans will be paying an extra 34%, if they decide to sign up;
I suspect that all of the liberals will, even though they can't afford it,
but want to support the administration no matter what it costs them.
(From The San Francisco Chronicle)
In response to my Tuesday column about Obamacare, a Santa Cruz man who
describes himself as a "staunch" Obama supporter tells me he feels
"betrayed." Anthem sent him a notice that his private plan, which also
covers his spouse, ends Jan. 1. But he is eligible for a comparable
Affordable Care Act plan. Alas, the premiums will rise from $766 to $1,251
per month.
He was angry before because he wanted a European-style single payer
system, but he wrote, "Honestly I gave this little thought because I
knew I could keep what I had, but as it turns out, this apparently is not
possible."
