Today the Obama said that you could get your gov't health care at the same
price that you would pay for your cell phone service. That's pretty cheap
if your service is only $24/mo and change. That's what mine costs and is
quite affordable.

Sounds good, but what are the premiums for a pre-existing condition?

There's something that isn't advertised...

Or the RFID they put in your pets so they can be identified and returned
to the owner, if the animal is found out of your yard. BTW, that RFID was
predicted to happen nearly two millenia ago.

I've found the deductible complexity is not that hard to understand. You
pay your premiums, you pay your co-pay and your share of drug costs and
then when you reach your maximum deductible, you don't have to pay
anything except your premiums, your co-pay, plus your share of drug costs.

Yeup.

The SSA notified me last week that my premiums will go up after Jan 1,
2014 - it will go up a whole $2 more than I pay now. They notified me
because they have a plan that the states who participate will help me with
my premiums, if I live below the poverty level AND I qualify.

Qualifying means that I'd have to sell the house and move into senior
quarters, which means that I'd triple my housing bill. These are the
geniuses at work in our gov't...
