Folks without insurance have no primary doctor (care office).
When they get sick, they go to a clinic or to the ER.  Or stay
home and hope they get well.  Which often means getting sicker,

Oh, come now.  With Obama, everything is gonna be free.  You know
that.  Everybody knows that.  No more need for patients to go to
the ER as they can now have their own private room in the hospital
of their choice ...

People who are sick do not always know why they are sick or what
is causing them to be sick.  Whether they have insurance or not is
irrelevant.  What a person might think is a non-serious condition
might be a life-threatening condition, and vice versa.

Your statement is patently false.  If something is not affordable,
that something is not accessible.  Kind of like housing.  There is
plenty of housing available in the US.  However, there is a severe
shortage of *affordable* housing available in the US.

Physicians are obscenely rich in this country, thanks to our
"healthcare for profit" system.  So obscenely rich that I know
one particular physician who "works" one day a week.  And then,
only if he feels like it.  He is not a specialist, but just a
run-of-the-mill general practitioner.  He is happy making $400k
per year, after taxes, living in a mansion, fully paid for.
Now just think what he could make if he was greedy and started
working two days a week ...

Health care specialists should receive fair compensation for what
they do.  But getting rich at the expense of others getting sick is
beyond the pale.  You do not find health care specialists complaining
about their pay in Britain, Europe, Australia, or Asia.  You do not
find many health care specialists clamoring to move to America, either.
They are happy with the compensation they receive, and even happier
when their patients benefit from their work.  For them, it is their
duty and their obligation that their patients get the best treatment
that can be given.  Even if the state pays the bill for services
rendered.

That is the way our "healthcare for profit" system works.  The rich
benefit, the poor suffer.

Obamacare is based on Mitt Romney's healthcare program in
Massachusetts, in which 98.5% of all state residents are covered.
That is far from what anybody would call a failure.

There is no "public option" in the ACA, as the idea of a "public
option" was stripped out of the bill by Joe Lieberman and one or two
other Senators.
