There certainly has to be more to a diet than "Eat more butter."  :)

Have you gone from fat to skinny?  One American has, and actually
lived to tell about it.  In fact, he even wrote a book.  And cookbooks.
As well as a web page.  With videos.  Here is his first book, an easy
read, explaining what it is all about -

 EAT: Meat, fish, eggs, vegetables growing above ground and natural
 fats (like butter).

 AVOID: Sugar and starchy foods (like bread, pasta, rice and potatoes).

 Eat when you're hungry until you are satisfied.  It's that simple.
 You do NOT need to count calories or weigh your food.  And just
 forget about industrially produced low fat products.

In general, the above may be true.  But it is also misleading in
a way most folks would not be aware of.  For example, pasta is an
excellent food choice, when prepared as it was a hundred years ago.
For example, spaghetti was made by using a chittara, thus producing
a much lighter spaghetti than what is found in stores.  It has half
the density, and absorbs sauces much more thoroughly.  The Chinese
were very grateful to Marco Polo for showing them how to cook their
noodles.

Rice is also an excellent food, but only if it is the right kind of
rice.  For example, much of the rice grown in China is the size of red
beans, which is to say large enough to eat with chopsticks.  This kind
of rice is not very good, which is why the Chinese emperor kept Marco
Polo around for twenty years before letting him return to Italy.

You're mean.  The meanest sysop in Fidonet.  The Chinese emperor cured
Marco Polo of all those problems by making him walk, on foot, all the
way back to Italy.  I realize Swedes are in great shape and can do it
by walking, on foot, from China to Sweden.  But imagine doing the same
thing if you had to walk, on foot, from China to America.  How far do
you think you'd get?  A few yards, maybe?  Certainly not the distance
of a football field ...
