Often seen quite frequently in the jungles of Bengal,  Assam, Bengal,
Bihar and especially from the former state of Rewa, in itself over 13k
square miles.

That only produces white fur...white tigers also have pink skin and blue
eyes. I once had an Irish Setter dog who had a brownish/red nose instead
of the black nose of most dogs. Not only that, her eyes were the same
tint. She must have had rabbit or kangaroo parentage, because she could
clear an 8 foot wall/fence in one bound, never touching the top.

Actually, if they roam far and wide as you say (I don't deny that they
do), then there is a chance that two animals with the necessary genes to
make white babies will occur more often than you think.

One of them was called; Roy 8^) of Seigfreid and Roy...both of German
descent.

Yeup...in fact one of these shieks captured a white Bengal in the wild and
bred it with an orange tiger. It took him a lot of years to finally get a
white tiger out of that experiment.

Kailash Sankhala, the director of the New Delhi Zoo in the 1960s, said
"one of the functions of the white gene may have been to keep a size gene
in the population, in case it's ever needed."
