    The reason why the US leaves Afghanistan is the same the USSR had.
You kill thousands of people to make the country happy, but still nobody
likes you, and you constantly wait for a knife into your back, and
anyway, you got it in the most unexpected moment. And, besides, new
technology allows to kill people remotely. You need not the soldiers in
Afghanistan, but gamers with joysticks in America, to enjoy themselves.

    The Fox News has never made impartial reports. They believe those
people in Kiev who shamelessly captured the power, crushing all
agreements. Now these people in Kiev cry out that they want
negotiations. But where can you find fools who can believe them once
more? How is it possible to have deal with them? They have discredited
themselves completely.

    IMHO, the Ukrainian protesters in Kiev often told a lie. For
instance, they complained of tyranny, oppression, cruelty of the police.
But in reality, the Ukraine at that moment was the most free country in
the world. Where in the world can you find authorities who could allow
such a long, violent protest? Yanukovich constantly restrained the
police from dispersing the Maidan protesters. Once (when Yanukovich was
out of the country) the police brutally cleared Maidan square. When
Yanukovich returned he sacked the police chief and allowed the
protesters return to Maidan square.

    Tell me the truth -- what an American policeman will do if a
protester will try to burn him alive with a petrol bomb (or a Molotov's
cocktail)? I strongly believe that he will use his firearm.

    It is a lie that protesters have defended themselves -- actually,
they shamelessly used that great freedom that was in the Ukraine at that
moment. The only things that bothered the opposition -- they had lost
elections, the government was formed by another party (of Yanukovich),
and they could not act as they wanted.

    But anti-Russian sentiments are strong in the US, and Fox News
eagerly believes those people who just declared that they fight against
tyranny of Russia. Americans in general act as sport fans. In Kosovo
most people were Albanians, who started fighting for independence from
Serbia. Of course, nobody in the US did not condemn separatists -- more
of that, NATO helped them to separate!

    In the Crimea the situation is similar -- the Crimea had been a part
of the Russian Federation until 1957, when a crazy Ukrainian man (Nikita
Khrushchev, the same man who later nearly brought the world into the WW3
nuclear war) gifted the Crimea to the Ukraine. So, Russians are the big
majority in the Crimea, and there are tens of thousand of them who are
ready to fight for independence, or even returning the Crimea to the
Russian Federation, their cultural motherland.

    The Ukraine's status of the Crimea is the ugly consequence the USSR's
totalitarian past. The citizens of the Crimea are actually victims of
the USSR tyranny, and they must be allowed to decide their future
themselves, without directives from Kiev. Indeed, the Crimea have more
rights for the Independence referendum than even Scotland. Just learn
some history.

    No, they didn't. But many military in the Crimea have refused to obey
the orders from Kiev. That is the reason why the Crimea authority has so
strong armed forces at its own disposal now.

    The situation in the Crimea is very similar to the situation in
Kosovo. But the inhabitants of the Crimea have tenfold more rights to
decide their destiny themselves.

    So, Russia, the Ukraine, some other countries, have inherited many
problems from the USSR. The USSR's strange, arbitrary and unfair
boundaries are a great problem now. The borders inside of the USSR were
a simple formality when the USSR existed. But after it was dissolved
many people found themselves deeply infringed. The western countries
must understand this tricky situation.
