*Ray Pierrehumbert*:


The Louis Block Professor of geophysical sciences at the University of
Chicago, which, in spite of the huge economic downturn of the US since BO (as
in `bad odor') was elected president. Pierrehumbert was also the lead author
on the IPCCThird Assessment Report, and also a co-author of the National
Research Council report on abrupt climate change.


The IPCC was set up by the United Nations back in about 1988 or there-abouts,
is paid for by funds coming from taxpayers of several countries, and,
obviously, if `climate change-nee-global warming' is fully exposed as the rip
-off scam that it is, people like Pierrehumbert are out of funds from that
source.


Also... he directs the Climate Systems Center, which recieved a $3.6 million
dollar grant from the National Science Foundation.


The National Science Foundation is a U.S. government agency.


In other words...Pierrehumbert is awash in taxpayer money!


And `what' do people awash in taxpayer money *find*? They *find* what will
bring in even MORE taxpayer money, of course!


Nuff said there....

There are so many `anti-Judith Curry sites out there it isn't even funny! It
would be too time-consuming to list them all here.


They mostly attack her because she counters a lot of the mis-information her
hottest critics are attacking her over.


Here's a few for-instances:


The `global warming' the pseudo-scientists have hung their hats (and
government (make that read `taxpayer') funding) on was nothing more than
ordinary climate changes that have been going on for millions of years on the
Earth and in the Solar System. The so-called `global warming' scientists point
to the year 2010 as a `sure sign' that global warming is real. But...just how
long has yearly temperatures been getting RECORDED, as opposed to the number
of years Man has roamed the Earth?


Another example:


When Curry openly admitted that scientists tried to hide the decline in global
temperatures, she was immediately attacked from all sides.

Most, if not all, her attackers are either in committed `taxpayer-funded'
climate study programs, or recieve funds from such.


Quite obviously, should those funds `dry up' due to it being exposed that this
so-called `global warming-nee-climate change' is nothing more than a scam to
bilk money from taxpayers to pay for pseudo-careers in `climatology', the
money just may dry up!


When Curry said that the IPCC was being `alarmist'...it is pointed out that
"...numerous papers have documented how IPCC predictions are more likely to
underestimate the climate response."


But....who `writes' these papers? Don't tell me people who have a vested
interest in government (make that read `taxpayer') funding continuing? No!


And when Curry says "...there is no consensus." the response is "...97% of
climate experts agree humans are causing global warming."


Two questions:


How many of that `97%' are in study programs on the climate that is funded by
some government (make that read `taxpayers')?


Secondly...when did these so-called `experts' lose sight of the fact that the
Sun, and its internal-external activity, is what mainly drives our weather?
And you can get information on that in any well-stocked public library!

The bottom line was, is, and will remain:


Global warming-nee-climate change was, and continues to be, a scam.


It was finally revealed as what it was by a few people at East Anglia getting
too arrogant and free-tongued in some of their e-mails.


By the way....this is heading toward the end of March. A large part of the
nation is still buried in snow and ice!


ON the other hand...California, Arizona and New Mexico have been rather dry
this year. Many of these `records' only go back about one hundred years.


The Earth is over four BILLION years old! Weather patterns, temperatures, and
various climates here and there on the Earth, have been `changing' since
before Man even existed!


Its just that only recently (the last forty or so years) that some people have
learned that, if you point to weather patterns, make up a good story to FIT
your little scam....taxpayers can be bilked out of millions (if not BILLIONS)
of their money for your benefit! A few politicians in the right places...a few
`computer model' presentations shown in the right places....and viola!
taxpayer money comes pouring in to pay for twenty and thirty year `careers' in
`climatology'! Neat!
