That was several hundred years ago. We don't live in that day and age anymore.
We now live in the 21st century. In a day and age when people should know
better than to let a bunch of religious fanatics hold some fantasy-afterlife
over their heads as a way to keep them from living their lives as they see
fit.

You toss that out there as though *I* was the one who caused it! The `Spanish
Inquisition' was no more valid or sensible in its day, than fanatical Islam,
or hard-line Christianity is in this day.

Personally...I don't believe you. Not that you live `15 miles' from the
Towers...but that you lost ANYbody in it! Not that I give a fuck. But, for
someone who `lost 23 friends' in the 9\11 attack...you seem to love Islamics
too much!


By the way...I lost 2996 `friends' in that attack. The vast majority of them
were Americans. They were victims of the Islamics you defend so quickly.
