I was going to let this one go by as not important enough....but then, after
seeing the hatred and bile they threw at Justice Clarence Thomas, the race -
baiting they hurled at him just because he made a decision they didn't like, I
reconsidered.


I saw a headline on the InterNet this morning about some things Cliven Bundy
said that caught my eye, but didn't think it was a real big deal. But I
decided (at first) not to post it up in here so as not to stir up our resident
black person-wannabe!


But then...I read some of the things said about Justice Thomas, went and read
the full article posted up on whatever Bundy said...and you know what? Those
who spat out hatred and bile at Justice Thomas, said a whole lot worsse than
anything Bundy said. And besides...unlike those who cursed and degraded
Justice Thomas in their reaction to his joining the majority decision...what
Bundy said made sense in many ways!


I know the New York Times put the very worst image they could on Bundy's
words...but thats what the New York Times does; SHILL for the democrats!


But if you read the whole thing through...you see the man isn't racist at all,
he's only telling it just exactly how it is with the hold the government keeps
over the majority of blacks in this country:

Cliven Bundy, flanked by supporters, has become a celebrity, drawing hundreds
of sympathizers.


BUNKERVILLE, Nev. - Cliven Bundy stood by the Virgin River up the road from
the armed checkpoint at the driveway of his ranch, signing autographs and
posing for pictures. For 55 minutes, Mr. Bundy held forth to a clutch of
supporters about his views on the troubled state of America - the overreaching
federal government, the harassment of Western ranchers, the societal upheaval
caused by abortion, even musing about whether slavery was so bad.


Most of all, Mr. Bundy, 67, who was wearing a broad-brimmed white cowboy hat
against the hot afternoon sun, recounted the success of "we the people" -
gesturing to the 50 supporters, some armed with handguns and rifles, standing
in a semicircle before him - at chasing away Bureau of Land Management rangers
who, acting on a court order, tried to confiscate 500 cattle owned by Mr.
Bundy, who has been illegally grazing his herd on public land since 1993.


"I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro," he said. Mr. Bundy
recalled driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas, "and in
front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people
and the kids - and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on
the porch - they didn't have nothing to do. They didn't have nothing for their
kids to do.


They didn't have nothing for their young girls to do.


"And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they
do?"� he asked. "They abort their young children, they put their young men in
jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I've often wondered,
are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and
doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn't get
no more freedom. They got less freedom."

Now...the biggest offense I see Bundy committing here is refering to blacks as
`negros'!


I remember when the term `negro' was in common use. There was nothing
offensive about it, and no degradation was attached to it.


Until....the politically-correct police came along.


But....get past the attempt of the Times to create a `race-bait' where none
exists... and READ what the man said:


"And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they
do?"

They get most everything handed to them! They get housing, food stamps, free
medical... and the more children they have...the more `government welfare'
they get! More food stamps!


And...was it Benjamin Franklin who spoke of getting `easy in their poverty'?


There's no denying there are people out there who are second and third-
generation `dependents' on the taxpayers.

And we are ill-served by politicians who seize on the `race' bait the Times
quickly wraps around this, so as to hide the fact that, there are indeed
blacks who have depended on the taxpayers all their lives, as did their
parents, their grandparents....and on and on.

A spokesman for Mr. Paul, informed of Mr. Bundy's remarks, said the senator
was not available for immediate comment.

This brave politician ran and hid!


But what Bundy said was true. The point the New York Times is trying to wrap a
racist intent around is pretty clear, and HAS been for many decades, now:


Those who work and strive for their place in society are far better off than
those who lay around on the government subsidy (make that read `taxpayer
expense)!


And as soon as a lot more blacks wake up to that, the better off they'll be!


And you can't say there aren't any black `role models' to lead the way...
