CALGARY a WINTER WONDERLAND in MAY!


Calgarians traded their slickers and umbrellas for parkas and mittens after
rain turned to snow overnight, transforming the city into a winter wonderland
Saturday morning.


Heather Smith blah blah blah...said the snow was being generated by a strong
low pressure system in the blah blah blah....combined with an arctic high
ushering in cold air.


Blah blah blah.....


Severe weather can be reported by calling....blah blah blah....Wait! Its an
`800' number! I might just call up and report snow!

This article speaks of snow in `May'! In fact...an annual event of `pathway
and river' cleanup' in its 47th year, had to be cancelled due to the snow!

Niagra Falls is one of the most (if not THE most) powerful water falls in the
world.


Its left from the last ice age, around 18000 years ago.


Of course, if the `Horseshoe' Falls didn't freeze.....well it doesn't
even really count as a `freeze'...! Right?


By the way...the last time it did that was 1911. Over a hundred years ago!


You know....think about it; 18000 years isn't all that long ago in geological
terms. MAN wasn't even recording history yet. By rights, if you follow the
time-line of the book, the Bible hadn't even been thought of as yet!


So....I wonder what those ancient Humans did that caused the Ice Age to come
to an end, and `global warming' set in? Too many camp fires?
