    I have to agree with you on one thing... Most gays are so hell bent on
  promoting their 'gay pride' that they feel they must make a bigger scene
  just so folks know they are gay.  They now have a 'straight pride' picture
  floating around on facebook.  I think it was Elton John that made a
  comment that he just had to get married the day that gay marriage was 
  legalized, even though he hadn't planned on getting married that soon,   
  and wasn't really ready.  To me, that's just stupid!  Being I worked
  for H & R Block for about 3 years, I can also say that I contiously try
  to explain to many gays and gay supporters that there is WAY MORE to gay
  marriage than the marriage licenses and actual weddings!  It's even been
  proven in the first few states the problems it causes, and many marriages
  that took place just to be on TV the day it first happened had a divorce
  within 1 month of the marriage taking place!  Folks don't realize that
  a marriage is a LEGAL partnership, much like a business corporation. 
  before you can engage in a marriage, there must be a way of leaving the
  marriage.  Since the couple may have kids going into the marriage, or 
  may adopt kids, then issues to decide who gets what with the children,
  support, etc will need to be decided.  I was told there used to be 
  issues with the mormans.  They used to allow multiple wives in one state
  or so, but I understand they pretty much eliminated that as well... 
  When doing taxes, the tax forms still to this day only show "Taxpayer"
  and "Spouse".  not "Taxpayer" and "Spouse1, Spouse2, Spouse3," etc.
  Likewise, several cases existed where all the wives would receive 
  food stamps, and other government support, while the husband has a job
  that can support all the wives, but his income doesn't get counted in
  the support.  This pratice pretty much bankrupt the states envolved in
  issuing the food stamps to them, and was on TV and the news.  I think they
  changed things so they can't get away with that it any more... Not sure...
