     Most programmers don't get all the bugs worked out on the very 
   first release...  ;-)  What language is the program written in?
   And what Operating system does he run it on?  Personally I prefer
   Borland Pascal first, Virtual or Free Pascal second... I guess more
   on Free pascal, because it's easier to get most things done in the
   command line scripted w/o having to pop open the IDE for 
   everything...  I've got BCC55 and Borland C++ 5.0, but don't use them
   as much... I also had an idea for a remote-compile door once...
   Setup a special file area and when a user logs in, clean the file 
   area out.  Let them upload their files they want compiled. Attempt
   to detect the language, ask the user what compiler they want to use.
   Then, compile the files and allow the user to download the resulting
   executables.  Perhaps be nice and zip it up for him.... Maybe even 
   if an Makefile is present allow just running the makefile and allow
   the makefile to create the .zip file with any executables needed...
   This could be a neat service, though I know most folks already have 
   any and all compiler they can get their hands on if they need it...

    Actually, most sysop's with common sense wouldn't dare try to sensor
  the routing! Its best to be all or nothing on it.  If you attempt to
  sensor, you can be liable.  There used to be folks long ago that 
  wanted to read mail going through their systems...  Folks learned
  it was best to just leave sleeping dogs lieing without poking them
  with a stick!
