if your requests for assistance with the software are on marC's board, then
they would be all over the rest of fidonet in those areas, too... the fact that
they are not indicates something is wrong somewhere... classic_computer has
just gotten the first traffic it has seen in a while in the last day or so and
it was all on-topic and none of the posts in there carry your name on them...
batpower is pretty much dead with the only recent messages in there being
regurges and spews of corrupted messages... c_echo no longer exists...

who is? i don't recall anyone else reporting their message bases being screwed
up... then again, most are using JAM bases whereas you are trying to use two
tossers on SQUish bases... heck, you even said that mutil screwed up your
squish routing and that's completely impossible... mutil doesn't know anything
about squish's control files and it certainly doesn't use them for any sort of
NETMAIL routing since echomail can't be routed... right??

you have been told before that it is ALPHA software... you say you are some
kind of king coder and all so you should know what ALPHA software means...
right?? you jabbed at the software author because he uses the handle g00r00...
perhaps you already have your own BBS/Mailer/Tosser/Areafix/Filefix package
written... what's the name of it so we can take a squint at it... oh, wait! you
don't have such? hummm...

sorry but if that were true, they would have been seen by others all over the
place and they just weren't... if they were, it would have been reported...
right?? the fact of the matter is that no one replied to your posts because we
never saw them... at the very least, i would have responded because that's the
helpful person that i am... i try to help folks all the time... i've only been
doing it for 30+ years... but see, you have other factors blocking your
attempts... the SCINET gateway stuff is down and that system isn't in fidonet
any more (sysop has gone AWOL for too long again) so none of the newsgroup
gating that used to come from there is being done any more... that's how the
mystic newsgroup made it into SCINet and fidonet... then you have your
synchronet system that you could easily have posted from but did you do that?
noooooo... why not? it would be the logical thing to do if the new software you
are trying to use isn't working...

no, i'm not as smart as you are, john... i don't go threatening policy
complaints when someone calls me names... fitting or not... i don't try to use
non-FTN methods of communicating with FTN echos... i know how to talk with my
feed to see if my traffic is getting out or if it is being sidelined on their
system for some sort of defect...
