Then...if you `read it' you already know I posted up the `cites' and that
should be an end to it.


And yes it WAS `related to what you wrote'.


You said I had `made the claim' it was on me to `prove it'.


I not only `proved' it...the `proof' I obtained was from an article
on the *Huffington Post*. A decidedly leftwing publication.


By the way....those I cited were just the top ten for amounts recieved
from the government (make that read `taxpayers').


There are many others, and taken all together they add up to over $40 or
more BILLION dollars a year paid out by taxpayers to universities and
their programs, salaries, benefits, and golden parachute retirements
for high-falutin' academics, who pursue information and studies that
only point to the need for (cue the trumphets) ta DA! *More* pursuit
of information and studies! Which translates into *more* money for
*more* pursuing of information and study!


By the way....don't take a nasty tone with me ala McGarrity. I've been
talking to you as though you're a gentleman. Talk to me in the same
vein, or I will include you in the list of fools who blindly follow
McGarrity's lead, and talk to you as such.


Incidently....got a piece of news for you.


Ever hear of Patrick Moore? He was one of those in at the very beginning
of Greenpeace, that environment-protecting group that went heavily
political. He's also a Canadian. He says that the claims made about
so-called `man-made' global warming is all nonsense!


He also says the following:


1. The concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere is lower today, including
human emmissions, than it has been during most of the existence of life
on Earth!

2. The global climate has been much warmer than it is today, during most
of the existence of life on Earth.

3. There was an Ice Age 450 million years ago when CO2 was about ten
times higher than it is today!

4. Humans evolved in the tropics near the Equator, and only survives in
colder climates due to clothing, fire and shelters.

5. CO2 is the most important food for all life on Earth. All green plants
use CO2 to produce the sugars that provide energy for their growth and
our growth. Without CO2 in the atmosphere carbon-based life could never
have evolved!


Moore left Greenpeace because it started to weird out. They got too
political, extreme, non-scientific.
