Firstly...Ball is a `geologist' who was actively studying *historic*
climatology...as (although you deliberately ignore the fact) `climate'
is also tied up with `geology in many ways.


Secondly, it isn't hard to understand Phil Jones's efforts to conceal
various e-mails and data detrimental to his `global warming' hulla-
baloo, when you stop and realize his and many other's salaries and
golden retirement packages are on the line if what they're putting out
is shown to be the scam that it is.


Question:


How come Mann (of `hockey-stick graph fame (or should I say `infamy?))
wouldn't release his `data' and the `math' he used to come up with
the data that was the subject of the court case he instituted against
Timothy Ball?

You disparage a man who has more experience and study in the field of

the commercial license I have I am required to submit to random drug

`Well over 93% of the scientists in that field' who have salaries, funds
from some government agency (make that read `taxpayers'), and have a
huge stake in their position not being exposed as a deliberate fraud?

Well....why do the `global warming' need to disparage, insult, make
threats to publishers to keep any material from those who are on
the opposite from being published?


If what they claim is so `right'. So `settled'. Why are they afraid
to allow any material that counters their position to even be published?


When Gore is asked straight, informative questions about the legitimacy
of his claims...why does he explode in red-faced anger, and stalk off
the stage?


If its so real...so `settled'....why is everybody who is a proponent
of it afraid to answer deep questions about it?


`Real' scientists calmly and lucidly sat down together and discussed
the entire subject together without rancor or red-faced anger (the
debates between Neils Bohr and Albert Einstein were famous).


Why all the rancor? Why all the secrecy? Why call for each other to
`delete' e-mails, supress information, conceal conversations?


If its so real...there'd be no need for such actions.


But...if there's something to hide....if huge amounts of taxpayer
funds will shrink or disappear altogether....well, then all this
duplicity and deleting of materials is understandable.


Even you cannot carry on a sensible, non-insulting conversation
on the subject.

Timothy Ball has yet to be absolutely *proven* a fraud.


But what *has* been proven is the fact that Mann (of the hockey stick)
has gotten his law suit tossed.


"Plaintiff continues to evade the one action that might establish its
[his science's] respectibality - by objecting in the courts of Virginia,
British Columbia and elsewhere, to the release of his research in this
field. See Cuccinelli vs Rectors and Visitors of the University of Virginia."


And Mark Steyn is now suing Mann for 10 million dollars, and Dr. Ball is
suing as well!


Also there's this:


As Mann refused to disclose his `hockey stick' graph meta-data, was a
real mistake on his part, because he failed to show that he did *not*
falsify his tree ring  `proxy data' forthe past 1000 years. So what
Ball said about him is closer to the truth: `Mann belongs in the state
pen...not at Penn State'!


It gets better (or `worse', depending on your point of view):


Hundreds...HUNDREDS! of papers in th earea of paleoclimat temperature
reconstructions that cite Mann's work are now down the tubes! Useless!


And the UN's IPCC that rely heavily on such data also goes out the
window!

Face it....Mann is a discredited junk-scientist who was shilling for
a disgraced cabal of `global warming' fanatics who were pumping the
taxpayers for their careers, funds, and golden retirements.


Unfortunately, we'll be dealing with the usefull idiots and their
do-gooder, whats-best-for-everybody actions for many years to come.


And its gonna cost a lot of money before its over.


Oh and....here's a last little tidbit to add to the already laughable
claims by Michael Mann;


Turns out that for years Michael Mann was claiming to be a Nobel Prize
recipient.


Unfortunately...that was suddenly, and publicly debunked! By several
reputable sources, including the Nobel committee itself.


Mann's claim was he recieved the Nobel along with Al Gore.


He didn't. Although he used that claim in his paperwork at Penn State
University, and made that brag publicly many times, the university
had to backtrack on it, as did Wikipedia and a few others.


So Mann is not only a junk scientist, and a shill for other junk
scientists, he's also a fraud and a liar!
