You can't say enough good about the Canadians who risked much to protect
American personnel. They stood up in the pinch and were just what they've
always been...cocky...true-blue....and outrageously daring.

Agreed. With the right president in office....that would have started a
war, and we would not now be having to deal with the ayatola assahola's
running Iran.

The entire aviation scenario should have gone on lockdown, no flights in
no flights out...damn the diplomatic reactions.

From the days of the highjacking that saw an American Sailor dragged from
an aircraft and beaten to death on camera on the tarmac, Americans got
on aircraft at their peril. The reaction of the US to that should have
been war planes and incendiary bombs, non-stop, till the perpetrators
were given up to American justice. Which is what should have happened
over 9\11\2001 in Afghanistan.


I would not have put one single `boot-on-the-ground' in Afghanistan. It
would have gotten `cruise-missiled' once a week every week until bin
Laden was surrendered to American justice. There wouldn't have been any
invasion of Iraq.


But my response to terrorist aircraft hyjackings that involved Americans,
or the murder of Americans by terrorists anywhere in the world, would
have soon brought them to an end. By the way...Arafat wouldn't have lived
the long life he enjoyed, either. He should have been taken out many years
ago by either an American bomb, or an Israeli hit squad!

Thats nice. But Americans know (or should) that going on international
flights ALWAYS entails the risk of hyjacking and\or death.
