I certainly hope you are wrong about that.  But your view is shared
by quite a few others, and it is easy to understand why.

Maybe I am being overly optimistic, but I believe hope remains
for Arab and Jew to reconcile their differences and live in peace.

Most people have difficulty seeing the forest for the trees.
But that hardly makes them being "a blind as a bat excuse for a man."

If it were not for religious fanatics, this world of ours would
be unliveable.  At least for humans.

He said "help" - not "professional" help.  There is a difference.
We all need help, whether we ask for it or not.  And even then we
must always be careful for what we ask for ...

There are no innocents in this world.  Or the next, for that matter.
Assuming there is a next.

Every year, on Good Friday, in the Philippines, there is always
a handful of nitwits who voluntarily get themselves pegged to a tree
re-enacting the crucifixion of Jesus.  One young American who did so
wrote an account of his experience and posted it on the web, along
with pictures of his crucifixion.  According to him, it was the most
excruciating experience a person could possibly have, although I am
not sure what he or anybody else could possibly compare it to.

Both sides have been doing it to each other for so long they have
forgotten who started it.  And neither side seems willing to take the
steps necessary to end such violence and hatred.

If you want Palestinians to stop killing Jews, then Jews must also
stop killing Palestinians.

Jews mutilate male babies by cutting off the foreskin of their penis.
It was a tradition started by Abraham as a joke.  Read the bible.  God
told Abraham to play a joke on his children, so Abraham complied with
God's commandment.  And everybody got a big laugh out of it, pointing
at each other's cock seeing how funny it looked after the foreskin was
removed.

Muslims also thought it was pretty funny so they started doing it too.

And since then, neither side has quit snipping away ...

Israel is a theocratic state, not a democracy.
Afghanistan under the Taliban was a theocratic state, not a democracy.
The only difference being one is Jewish, the other Islamic.

Muslims are Christians already.  Islam means "peace and submission
to Allah" - Allah meaning "God the Father" in the Christian sense.
Is that not the same thing that Christians profess?  Belief in one
God, the Father Almighty ...

Heroes all.  Even though much of what they did they were not proud of.
War is not a fun activity for anybody.  Or it shouldn't be.  For those
who think it is, either have never experienced it or are sick in the

Do you know what the difference is between a Dutch Jew, a German Jew,
a Russian Jew, and any other type of Jew?  Only the location the Jew
happens to be passing through at any given time.

That is misleading, as civilians were also part of the resistance.

We did that in Toronto, burning the city to the ground.
And then they retaliated, burning Washington DC to the ground.
Did we get what we deserved?  Some people think so.

I'm just glad Andy Jackson came to our rescue and saved the
city of New Orleans from the same fate.  As well as saving our
nation and later becoming President of the United States.
