Aruba? That is part of the Kindom of the Netherland. Its legal system is
basically Dutch.

And after all these years it most likely never will. There was no murder case
and there never was a trial. All there was, was the case of a missing person.
Joran van der Sloot was questioned in relation with that missing person case
and released when no evidence emerged that he was involved in a crime.

That is how Dutch law works. One can have suspicion, but if there is no
evidence, one has to let the suspect go. Presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Same guy, different country, different case.  Joran van der Sloot was convictid
in Peru for the murder of Stephany Ramirez and sentenced to 28 years in prison.
No longer innocent, because proven guilty in a court of law. What is the
problem?

I have? What have I been called that is worse than being called a child
molestor?

Even so, a worse wrong does not annul the lesser one.

The allegation was made in public. The challenge should have been in public as
well.
