The "Peace Through Strength" philosophy has never worked at
any time in history.  It did not work in Germany, Japan, Korea,
Vietnam, or even Afghanistan and Iraq after the events of 9-11.
The only thing such pillage and destruction managed to accomplish
was to kill a bunch of people, including our own.

There is no such thing as a "just war" - as there is nothing
"just" about war.  The killing of innocents is horrible enough,
the killing of others in my name just as horrible if not even
more so.

Politicians and military leaders make many "excuses" for
going to war - even though there are no real reasons for war.

War is nothing more than the exchange of human lives for real
estate.  Real estate can be many things, not just land.  As you
know, or should know, all wars are economic.  Somebody wants
to gain something at somebody else's expense.  Preferably at
or with little or no expense.

In the case of ISIN, the cost is minimal.  Having only a
small handful of fighters (the CIA estimates 31,500 at most)
this group of terrorists has virtually nothing to lose and
everything to gain.  What do they want?  To spark a worldwide
religious war between Muslims and infidels.  How best to do
that?  Get the Great Satan (the USA and its proxies) to attack
Muslims in Muslim homelands ...

George Washington was a deserter.

We need more people like him today.

The Revolutionary War was not so much a revolution, but
rather a war to keep the status quo.  It was the most bloody
war in American history (per capita), and also fought on our
own soil.

In fact, we had to fight the British TWICE in order to have
our freedom.  Thank God for the pirate Jean Lafitte who saved
New Orleans and America ...

Okay, okay.  We gave General Andrew Jackson all the credit,
erecting a statue of him riding his horse in front of St. Louis
Cathedral in the French Quarter.
