The Romans and various nations in that region conquered Israel long ago,
over two thousand years ago.


The Jews scattered all over the world. There was no longer a `Jewish'
nations in existence. And wasn't since not long after the death of
Christ.


The Palestinians lived there for almost two thousand years.


Suddenly, after WWII, riding on the wave of `holocaust' sympathy, the
Jews began flocking to the region, and began `claiming' it as their
homeland.


They pushed the people (Palestinians) who lived there now out of the way,
making `settlements', making up laws and rules that excluded the people who
had possessed the land for two thousand years.


In 1948 or thereabouts, Harry Truman, the president of the U.S. at the time,
stood up in the UN and recognized `Israel' as a sovereign and independent
nation (the fool!).


And there has been turmoil, war, mass murders, more turmoil, more wars.....
ever since.


People here in the U.S. get elected to and serve in our Congress. They come
from all over the nation, and have differing ideas about how things should
be. My thoiught has always been that, when they come up with all these
`wonderful' notions they sometimes enact into the law of the land, they
rarely if ever give any thought to the long-term harm they may be about
to bring on the nation as a whole. And it doesn't help when we had a large
number of Congress people who were either connected in some way with the
`holocaust', or were heavily sympathetic to the cause of modern-day Israel,
such that taxpayer's money found its way to Israel year after year.


Now look at this from the other side:


Palestinians lived in what was known as `Palestine' for over a thousand
years, long after the Romans were dead and gone. They owned the land.


Along came the Jews after WWII, and with the almost complete consent of
the UN (the old `league of nations') flooded into the Palestine area, and
began yammering for `a land of their own'.


I remember Harry Truman as the president. I was a young boy at the time
and liked his quick-witted, sometimes biting way of speaking out.


But it took many years for me to realize that Truman did the U.S. no
favors when he formally recognized Israel as an independent soverign
nation in 1948.


And ever since, American money and equipment have flowed to Israel
year after year after year.


And what America hasn't `given' to Israel over the years, it outright
stole from us! Israel practiced espionage against us for decades!
Probably still does! It has wound up with war plane designs, nuclear
weapons technology, battle field equipment designs....all of which it
stole from us, at6 least that which was not outright GIVEN to it by
the powers that be in the U.S. Congress.


And ever since 1948, when Truman opened the floodgate and involved
America in Israel's continued existence, there has been nothing but
war, turmoil, mass-murders....and on and on...in that region of the
world, ever since.


As to those in the Congress...those who come up with these things
they commit the nation to, without thought to the long term effects
of what they're letting us in for?


A simple reading of the bible alone, and any other legitimate history
of that region of the world, will reveal that the Jews and Arabs
have been at each others throats for thousands of years! They hate
each other with a dedicated passion that echoes down through the
thousands of years they've been living on Earth, and will never end
till one or the other (preferably both) are all dead and gone.


And has spilled over into the modern day with a vengence.


America has been Israel's `friend and ally' since it came into existence
in 1948. How long did people think it would take for the Arabs who are
at war with Israel, to turn on America for being Israel's friend?


It isn't as though there wasn't more than enough warning that a 9\11\2001
attack was not long in coming.


That is took from 1948 to 2001 to come, shouldn't be a surprise at all.


There's an old Arab saying that goes something like; `He who waits only
twenty years before taking his revenge, is acting in haste'!


They've been killing other nationalities for decades now. Not just
Americans. How long did people think it would take before they
came up with a method to shock the world with an attack that would
make the Pearl Harbor attack look tame by comparison? Arabs may
be vicious, and have religious beliefs that date to the sixth
century...but they aren't just ignorant camel herders. Some of the
smartest people in the world come from that region.


And those short-sighted individuals in our Congress have succeeded in
loosing upon us a war that is not going to end till we deal the islamic
fanatics a devastating, sound defeat. And the way to do that is not
what we're doing right now. And of course, the complete asshole we've
got in the White House today isn't the right person for the job, either.
