One of the biggest things wrong has been the whole developed world has
let the Jews lay a guilt trip on them since the end of WWII, and lead
them around by the nose.

First...there has never been a `nation' called *Palestine* that I know of.


Although one or two countries have recently decided there `is'.


Back in Roman times and before, it was a territory controlled by so many
peoples the list is too long to type here.


The Ayrabs were as you say only camel herders until the Jews suddenly decided
they wanted some sort of `right of return'.


Then, all of a sudden, the Ayrabs decided it was their *nation*. It was never
all that important to them until the Jews decided with the end of WWII on a
`right of return'.


And, the world powers (as they were then) allowed it to happen.


As a result of the British not strongly enforcing the territory's
safety against the huge influx of Jews, Harry Truman declaring that we,
the United States, recognized *Israel* as a sovereign nation, and the
rest of the modern world doing nothing to counter that `imperious'
declaration on the part of a country's leader who neither lived there, nor
had any stake in its future, we, over 60 years later, are faced with a
bunch of fanatic religious zealots who murder people in horrendous ways.

Modern-day Israel came into existence more than 60 years ago. Its here, and
nothing can be done about that.


The Ayrabs are now going to have to live with that.


We in the west are going to have to lose our squeemishness and start
dealing with the fanatics a lot more harshly than up till now.


If we don't learn to fight this war on *their* terms, we're going to
lose it.
