Right now, November 16, on a weather site I'm reading:


Fresh snow is reported by 9 ski resorts.


And 10cm plus fresh snow is forecast for 14 American ski resorts.


Looking at a Montana Department of Transportation weather map for today,
there are many areas of frost and ice...there are also several areas
where it is *snowing*. There are also many areas of reduced visibility
due to high winds and *snow*! Also...there are areas of reduced visibility
due to *blowing and drifting snow*!


In the Bozeman area the weather map for today on Montana's DOT site shows
areas of frost and ice, plus reduced visibility in some places due to
*blowing and drifting snow*.


Bozeman is in the southwestern area of Montana...moving a little further
west...Hamilton shows frost and ice conditions and *snowing*.

A little Northeast of there it is *snowing*.


And on and on.....


Your `friends' in Montana must have their TV turned off if they don't know
its *snowing* in Montana in various parts of the state right now.


Its *snowing* in areas all over the state of Montana.

Maybe they ought to turn on their TV once in awhile. They'd get an accurate
weather report. What area of Montana do they live in, by the way? Montana's
a big state. And it isn't *snowing* in every part of the state...but the
temperature there isn't `tee shirt time', either. The `observed' temp is
32 degrees...a 13 degree difference from last year.

So....what you're saying is; its known to *snow* in Missoula, Montana! Who'd
have guessed!

Nothing `tangible'?


Well...the record cold there AND the *snow* in many parts of the state of
Montana is certainly *tangible*.


The various ski resorts around the state show 8degrees for Big Sky Resort
with over 6" of snow overnight.

Discovery Basin shows 0 degreeswith 5" of snow on the summit and 4" more
expected overnight.

Maverick Mountain just gives the temperature as "COLD"! with 8" and 10" of
snow respectively.

Montana Showbowl shows 65 degrees (is that where your friends live?) and
Showdown Montana comes next with 42 degrees.

So...yeah....I guess according to *your* standards, they're having a heat
wave in Montana!

Your `opinion' and about 1 Mark-fifty will get you a bier in almost any
gesthaus in Germany.


But it ain't worth a hoot where the weather's concerned. German money or no!


Oh...by the way; The French (those blithering idiots) are catching on to the
`global warming' panic! Hollande is out there spouting that `failing to
address global warming could lead to war!' As if France has the guts to start
a war!


He's saying that at a future meeting in Paris "...we (he must carry a mouse
around in his pocket!)...will sign a global warming agreement that will
prevent the planet from experiencing global warming...."!


Where does he or anyone else get the notion that humans can prevent `global
warming of as much as 3 or 4 degree C'...just by signing an agreement?


First of all...France hasn't won a war all by itself since Joan of Arc died!


And secondly...where would France get the guts to start one? Hopefully,
those trees along the Champs Elysees are grown enough since the last
triumphal parade along it to the Eifel Tower, that the Germans will
be able to march in the shade this time. Hope the French have plenty of
wine....the Germans are heavy drinkers.
