Its not anybody's business how many `weapons' I have. Some people have lots
and lots of cars. And we know from the time the automobile became fairly
common, that automobiles kill people.

I've been here and there around the world...Europe, Japan, Vietnam...


My experience has been that most foreigners are not just envious of our
freedoms here, they are pretty critical of them also. I have to wonder how
much of that is pure jealousy.

Really? Mexico is less than 30 miles from where I'm sitting right now typing
this. Thirty miles away from where I'm sitting...the citizens of Mexico live
life on their knees! At the mercy of both sides; three side, in fact: the
federales, the local police, and the drug cartels.


Those are the only ones in Mexico who have weapons. And the drug cartels by
far outgun any local police or federale unit in the area.


And even here in America its becoming more and more dangerous to live this
close to the border. Especially over in Arizona and New Mexico. Ranchers can't
even go certain places on their OWN PROPERTY!! Drug cartel snipers shoot at
them on their OWN LAND!!!

be armed.

Nonsense. they've already had a few go-arounds with that. Problem is... when
an `assault weapon' ban gets put into force...you'd be amazed at how many
other weapons fall into that category! For a time here, they were trying to
classify semi-automatic pistols (like the old Colt .45 Auto 1911) as an
`assault weapon'!

We Americans jealously guard our freedoms. They were hard-won by our Founding
Ancestors at hard and heavy cost, long ago.


People get into our government workings that think a lot like you. And they
slowly chip away at our Constitution....a little here...a little there.


`OH that wasn't what the Founding Fathers *really* meant!'.....


Oh...any sensible person can see THAT wasn't the intent at all!'


This president has done more to destroy our Constitutional rights than any
five presidents in the past.

That isn't their purpose nor is it within their area of responsibility.


Foreigners are so down on Americans having the right to keep personal
firearms, they just can't stand the thought that, somewhere in the world,
there is a `people' who take responsibility for their own safety, and refuse
to live on their knees.
