If indeed the polarity was reversed, which is highly unlikely due to the GOP
resistance to any type of change other than living in the Reagan years, the
outcome speaks for itself with regard to where the country was in economic
terms and consumer confidence. One of the things people, usually conservatives,
miss is things don't always go as planned.  In hindsight, do you think the
President would have had to endure a Congress as useless as it was/is yet still
see the results? The previous administration had a Congress who seemed to
follow him like a puppy yet where did it get us?  Towards the end of that
administration I felt like I was rolling along in that clockwise rotation of
being flushed.

It's not MY world... it's THE world and those who live in reality rather than
that of the TP with their spokespersons such as Sarah Palin understand the
times ahead, not turn back 35 years ago. It's sorta like sticking one heads in
the sand.

Hey, a rose is a rose.  Lie with the dogs and you eventually get fleas. Shall I
go on? 

Ross, I respect your views and as such respect mine.  I do not throw things in
your face based on someone elses personal, yet orchestrated, beliefs such as
your Representative.  He talks a good game but his assumed foundation is weak
when it comes to making threats or uncalled for remarks such as your
Congressmen Joe Wilson.  Real piece of work there. I look at facts, the economy
is better, consumer confidence is higher, jobs are being created (yes, not to
the the point where most would want to see them but at least we're not losing
them as was seen in the previous administration), the President's approval
rating is trending upwards all do to these facts. BTW, same period during the
previous administrations tenure what was their stats?  Trust me, I am not
blaming Bush for those times, it was inevitable the country was going to crash
due to the policies at the time but even you can't deny the success seen by
this administration.  Could it have been better, sure it could have but
honestly, tell me who's fault was that? One doesn't need to be a genius to
figure that one out, right Mr. Gowdy? 

BTW, I've made him the new Sarah Palin poster child of the TP. Quite the
accomplishment... :)
