I just re-typed it but a little differently, and it came up.


I'm listening as I type.


Firstly....the man talking; Hans Rosling....is talking in such broken english
you can hardly understand what he's saying.


Secondly....he pointed to a `report for policy makers' and refered to it as
being true *because* its put out by the UN's IPCC as `for policy
makers'..which in his mind MAKES it true!


Secondly...he's telling his audience this `report' he's waving around is `the
best that can be done....so it MUST be true'.


He then holds this `report' up to the audience and says that `you can see from
the outside that its true'. (I'd *never* want this guy as a witness in any
trial....he'd have the whole court room roaring with laughter!)


Thirdly...a huge poster on stage just behind him touts *200 years of global
change*!


Well la di da! He takes 200 years out of the Earth's 4-plus BILLION year
existence and raises a scare over it?


As he gets into this document, he's putting forth how `accurate' it is, but
what `accuracy' he'll show is yet to be demonstrated. Let us go on with the
video....


He immediately puts one off with his `fight devastating ignorance' thing.

People don't like to be told they are `devastatingly ignorant'. As though
right away....*you* don't know anything and *he* knows it all...so you just
better pay attention! People aren't `devatatingly ignorant' and don't like
to be told that. He then goes on to `a fact based world'! (by the way...
I'm gonna have a few simple questions when this video is over)


He goes into `sea level rising' stuff. But (taking his `1900' year as base)
in fact....we're talking about a very small amount. You probably couldn't
be a resident of...say NYC, have lived there all your life, and see with
your naked eye the decimal amount the tide comes in further than it did when
you were first born.


Also....he puts this chart from his `report' up for the audience to follow
with him as he talks, and explains that this chart is from `experts'! So
it MUST be true!


He then projects this so-called `rise' in red from the report's graph, upward
in a steep curve, claiming this is what will happen in the future.


He also claims we can't avoid this `terrible, terrible scenario'! And he puts
a 99% probability on this dooms day scenario with the oceans.


He then pronounces the question of `does humans change climate? Thats over!
Thats settled!' (By the way....he doesn't say `yes they do' or `no they don't'
....he just says `thats over! Thats settled')


See....the problem is no science is EVER settled.


He then goes on to complain that Sweden's land rose .8m in a century. It took
a whole century for Sweden to rise .8m! Holy foozball! Well....lets do the
math here.....so in a thousand years Sweden will have `risen' what....one and
a half meters? Call the fire trucks! Get the UN on the phone! Emergency!
Emergency! Sweden has `risen'!


By the way....in case you're not aware yet....I'm laughing myself silly over
this clown with the heavy accent!


(Oh yeah....MAJOR CLUE::: seismic activity involving the Earth's Crust, Mantle
and Interior, causing vast land masses to rise, sink, and alterations to huge
tracts of coastlines, have been going on the entire 4.5 billion years since
the Earth first formed...and will continue to occur long after Man has wiped
Himself out! It has nothjing whatever to do with Man driving motor vehicles,
heating homes, or puffing on cigars!)


Rosling, by the way, is a medical doctor (NOT a climatologist). He's a pretty
good charlatan, and plays well to the right audience. But he's `out to sea'
mostly, and what he touts as `facts' are nothing but nonsense. He makes `its
real', or `its truth', or `its settled'....based on little or nothing.


He's a waste of time.


And finally seeing what you guys are basing your `climate' beliefs on...I'm
disappointed. I was expecting some hard facts and some serious information.


All I got was a `dog and pony' show put on by a guy who's english you can
barely understand.


But...this video did not answer the couple of simple straight-forward
questions I've put to you...which go un-answered I will ask them again:


If this whole `global warming' thing is so real....why the need to conceal
data? Alter data? If its all so `true'....why delete e-mail traffic between
those who are involved in the field using taxpayer money? Why try to hide data
from FOIA demands for an accounting of what he taxpayers are getting for their
money? Why alter computer `models'? `Global warming' or `climate change' is
NOT some sort of `national security' item. It has no military value or any
need for deep secrecy.


Taxpayer money is paying for a vast amount of this so-called `research'...and
in that regard, taxpayers are the ones who *own* this data. Nobody involved
in this so-called `research' that is in any way funded with taxpayer money has
the right to delete, conceal, alter or otherwise hide from the taxpayers
anything they discover, generate, or whatever...it is the property of said
taxpayers


So....  do I get sensible answers? Or more insults...put-downs...evasions?


Its really simple...just answer the questions. If you can't....you don't
know the answers....just say so.
