One thing you notice immediately about Canada is how effectively they muffle
any and almost all openly-expressed skepticism over `global warming'.


There are few sources from Canada. In fact, they just got rid of one of their
biggest skeptics.

I've said this before, but....


I was probably on the line about the whole thing until Al Gore came along.


You'd almost have to be a USA'ian to understand about Al Gore.


When Al Gore hit the national scene as Clinton's vice president, three things
about him became obvious immediately:


When he got red-faced, fervently verbose on a subject he was either:


1. Lying his ass off!

2. Didn't know what the fuck he was talking about!

or

3. All of the above!


And the more red-faced and angerly he spoke about it...the more I began
to look at it with a skeptic's eye.


Many of the things Gore was saying could not possibly have been true.


Barring a catastrophic earth quake or comet strike...the shore linies of
New York City could not possibly alter in the way Gore claimed they would
in such a short period (like...in MY lifetime).


Giving a hard look at where all this `global warming' stuff had taken us
while I hadn't really been paying that much attention, caused me to take
an even harder look at it.


I remember back in the late 1960's and early 1970's...we were told we were
heading into another Ice Age (capitol letters deliberate). A look at past
Earth history shows that Ice Ages came and went in almost regular cycles,
and some of them last for thousands of years.


We are actually still coming out of the last one, which has lasted about
40 million years! And I remember back then we were told we were heading
into another one.


Up till the e-mail's from the group at East Anglia University `climate
research unit' hit the airwaves...I was sort of `tongue-in-cheek' on
the `global warming' thing.


I was `tongue-in-cheek' on it because I began to notice something;


Typically....a scientific investigation into some big question or other
was made in-depth...findings were made, publicized, and everyone moved
on.


Here....study after study after study....over many years went on, and I
noticed that it wasn't university groups or lone scientists doing these
`studies'...it was scientists and universities, subsidized with TAXPAYER
money doing all these studies!


And every year...the same thing seemed to happen; after a year-long
series of `studies', it was found that (suprise!) more `studies' were
needed to `confirm last years' findings'....or to `evaluate what
they'd found so far'....or SOMEthing that (you guessed it!) would
take a greater amount of TAXPAYER money to do!


I began to strongly suspect the whole thing the more the UN became
involved. It seemed to me that, of all the countries in the world who
`signed onto' this `gloal warming' catch phrase..it was the United
States that was pouring the most of its taxpayer's money into it!


Then the East Anglia University's Climate Research Unit e-mails hit
the public...and clearly exposed the whole rotten con job!


Anyone who reads them cannot possibly not see we've been hoaxed!


Looking at some of the statements of many higher-ups, should put
the whole question on hold.


One statement reveals that we `understand only about 10% of the
global climate'....another speaks of using it to `overthrow the
World's capitolistic economic policies'.

He's refering to the `cooling trend' which has been going on for
several decades!


There is message traffic on making the warm period in Greenland
`go away'....


And so many more....


It is an obvious scam. A con game. Academics who see an endless
source of huge grants and lifetime careers, and politicians who
see campaign funds and their own continuing stay on taxpayers'
payroll, are the scam artists...and the taxpayers are the `marks'.


We've been hoodwinked. Lied to....cheated...conned.


Wake up and smell the coffee!
