Not all diseases are really diseases.  When is a cancer really
a cancer?  What about diabetes?  Is diabetes really a disease?
Or is it a condition?  You cannot, or should not, believe
everything that you have been told, whether by your doctor
or by the advertisements by pharmaceutical companies you have
seen on television.

Misrepresentation of medical evidence has long been used by
pharmaceutical companies to make fallacious claims - such as
pain killers not being addictive.  Doctors give free samples
(provided to them by pharmaceutical companies) to the patients,
and write prescriptions for their drug of choice.  The patients
get addicted to the meds, and when the scrip runs out and doc
refuses to write a new srip (refill) - the patient buys heroin
on the black market as he needs his/her fix.  That is why we
have so many junkies in America.  Only today's junkies do not
live in the gutter, but are our neighbors, children, and even
the elderly.

The same methods and techniques are used to promote statins,
which many doctors in the USA prescribe for their patients as
some kind of "wonderdrug" that is supposed to be the cure for
cholesterol and other maladies (cardiac/heart).  The use of
statins was promoted by the American Medical Association not
only to doctors, but also to politicians, with the idea of
mandating statins to be added to our nation's drinking water
supply.  Fortunately, saner minds prevailed at that time (or
the AMA failed to bribe enough politicians).

Much less likely to die young if living a healthy lifestyle.

The use of statins depletes a males testosterone.  That means
men are less likely to make their woman pregnant.  In other words,
statins are being used as a form of birth control for men.  You
see, statins do not work very well for women.  Hardly at all.

The use of statins also weakens muscles.  In fact, statins cause
the deterioration of muscle tissue.  The heart is a muscle.  Guess
what happens when the heart starts to deteriorate?

Researchers are just now beginning to admit a correlation between
the use of statins and the onset of Alzheimer's.  I really wonder
why it took them so long to figure that out, since depriving the
brain of its main source of food (cholesterol) should have been
a giant hint for them to start looking at that aspect years ago.

Yes, pharmaceutical companies knew all about the dangers of statins.
Just like pharmaceutical companies knew all about the dangers of
pain killers.  But the color of money was what they wanted, the red
of an individual's blood leaking out being nary a concern.

Even infants die of illness that is not their fault.  But
tempting fate is not a wise decision, which is the point.

Doctors lie.  Sometimes deliberately.  And a patient would
never know.  If a doctor wanted to kill, as in murder, he/she
could do so.  And likely get away with it.  With nobody ever
suspecting a thing.

Most doctors would never act in that manner.  But some would.
And I am sure a small handful do, or have done so.

Pharmaceutical companies have convinced doctors, through the AMA,
that their products are safe.  And because doctors have placed such
great faith and trust in Big Pharma, doctors do Big Pharma's bidding.
Without ever knowing they are being used and manipulated.  Of course,
those who are paying the price are the patients, who foot the bill
with both their money and their lives.
