I understand, Paul. I guess my beef with Ward and fidonet.org is there is so
much more that could be done with it.. as it is, the site only shows ONE zone,
and the link for Zone 1 is a copy of pages I did way back in 2004!  The
maintainer (it's not Ward) just has to ask me for current dump of my work at
filegate.net and it would look and work a whole lot better.

Well, it's been mentioned here that I update fidonet.ca and fidonews.ca, and
now have linked fidonews.us to fidonews.ca <grin>

Hmm... I looked at fidonews.org tonight - it's been updated since the last time
I looked at it.  I think someone posted phoney information at their own
registrar for that domain to hide the "true owner".  "Panama" is a joke for
god's sake. But that is where the domain is listed as coming from.  I wonder if
ICANN would appreciate knowing that they've been had.

Whoever updated it, did a nice job for the most part.  I'd bet Nick Andre? Just
a guess, I'd have to ask him myself.  But I know he talked to Ward about
updating some parts of Fidonet.org, that's why I figure he updated
fidonews.org.

I see the "new" fidonews.org site links to my work at fidonews.ca.  I certainly
don't mind, that's what it's there for.. <grin>.. but whoever created that link
needs to fix it so it reflects the actual content at fidonews.ca though.  It is
stuck on some issues neither here nor there Lol

No, he is not still involved in Fidonet.  His page is not so out of date,
really.. Ok, we don't have 6 zones anymore <grin>.... but some of the links
there work.  I'll contact Thom and see if I can help him update that page some.
You're right, it does need it in places.

I don't know that we can fix 'every' broken link where Fidonet is the
subject... but we can try to bring all of the fidonet.* domains at least
current, you are right about that :)

And geez, let someone who understands how css and html etc. works fix this crap
that's out there...
