There is only one version of the Fidonews that is
published by the international community of sysops
known as Fidonet.  Likewise, there is only one
editor who has been hired by that same community
of Fidonet sysops, the current editor being Björn
Felten.

That is why only one version of the Fidonews is
recognized by the international community of Fidonet
sysops as being legitimate - the one and only version
in which Björn Felten is editor.

Sysops around the world should only carry the one and
only legitimate version of Fidonews on their systems,
disregarding any and all "fake" versions that may exist.

Frank Vest, the previous editor of the Fidonews, appointed
Björn Felten as editor.  Ross Cassell did not like that and
decided to go to war.  Namely against me.  But also others,
such as Bob Klahn, John Wilson, Frank Scheidt, Ross Sauer,
Wayne Chirnside, Tim McDonald, Tim Richardson, etc.

Ross Cassell took many steps trying to dethrone Björn
Felten as editor of the Fidonews.  He tried to keep those
he disagreed with from posting messages in this forum,
earning the nickname "Feedcutter of Fidonet" for his
efforts.  He tried to name himself "moderator" of the
Fidonews by naming himself by elisting himself as
moderator on a private elisting.  He tried calling
people he wanted out of this forum nasty names, as
well as telling untrue things about them.  He did many
other things to make life miserable for Björn Felten
and those whose views he did not like.

The fake Fidonews thing is just one of the latest
escapades formulated by Ross Cassell and his Ice Queen.
Not only has Ross Cassell used this charade as a dig
against Björn Felten, but he also got his Ice Queen to
manipulate the files and nodelist.

Thom LaCosta was the maintainer of the private elist
that Ross Cassell used to elist himself as moderator
of the Fidonews.  Ben Ritchie is current maintainer,
although that really makes no difference, as whatever
Ritchie does must (in effect) be approved by Ross
Cassell.  You see, the elist is nothing but a ruse,
or window dressing, as it has no official status in
Fidonet, and never has.

It does not matter who has been named to be in charge
of maintaining an elist that has no official status in
Fidonet.  Especially since Ross Cassell himself is the
dictator/decider, making whatever changes he wants, if
he wants, when he wants - with the full blessing of his
Ice Queen who loves him so very much.
