That is understandable.

The Fidonews began as a single publication in 1984, with
Tom Jennings as editor, and continues as a single publication
today, in 2015, with Björn Felten.  Any and all other
publications of the same name are mere pretenders to the
throne, and should be disregarded by all as such.

There is only one Fidonews.  Therefore the answer is obvious.

Copy and paste are the only tools you need.

It doesn't take much effort or brains to copy and paste.

If I am hired by a publisher to serve as editor of a newsletter,
and faithfully execute my duties as editor to the satisfaction of
my employer (the publisher), I will have done the job I was hired
to do.

That is exactly what Björn Felten has done.  Successfully.
For the past ten years.  And counting.

If the publisher is not satisfied with his work, the publisher
can fire him.  But the publisher has been happy with the work that
has been done by the editor, and has chosen to retain his services
for as long as he is willing to continue.

I can understand a handful of people being jealous, wanting to
have the job that Björn Felten has.  But if they want the job,
they will have to get it the old-fashioned way - they will have
to earn it.  And that is something they do not like.  So what
do they do?  They try to steal it.  Any which way they can.
By hook or by crook, it does not matter.  As long as they get
what they want, that is all they care about.

It is the international community of Fidonet sysops who
hired Björn Felten as editor of their own publication, known
as the Fidonews.

Anybody else who makes the claim to be editor of an alternate
"Fidonews" publication is a fraud, as is the publication itself.

There is a certain "troika" of individuals who many sysops hold
in great contempt in these parts ...
