The statement was derived from the standard overall view on how the US conducts
it's business by many in this echo. When it comes to war, there are no innocent
parties.

OK, then we are in agreement.

Picking and choosing the terminology is really not up to anyone.  If one rape
happened, then there is a stigma that will follow all.  It's human nature.

Michiel, well put but please, reread your statement and take it ahead 50 years.
 No one denies the issues that occured between the two zones.  It happened. 
Those who were involved in it are now gone.  Those of us who really weren't
involved in it still hear it today and yes, like WWII in your mind, some of us
feel the same way when it comes to the zone war.  It happened, it's done,
people expressed regret and apologized yet it still continues almost on a daily
basis, even you throwing in your two cents. Everyone has skeletons and no one
lives in a glass house.  Digging up the past seems to be the international
pastime here.  How about we agree and make WWII and the past Fido issues dead
and buried. The echo may go silent for months on a time but I'm sure our sanity
is worth it.
