Neither do I. Fidonet / Policy4 has never impacted me in a way that wasn't
positive. Some people seem to feel that P4 was foisted on them and maybe they
have a point. I don't mind rewriting or amending that policy and putting it to
a vote. Putting in place something people do want and can have a say in and
feel a part of.

Probably not, but if it was re-writen or amended and voted on then people
wouldn't drag it through the mud as if it was the problem. :)

Could it be that they created a lot of politics hoping to avoid politics?

indivisible bunch. At least when they need to be.

Except for the indians most people in America (or Canada) have roots to go
back somewhere around your part of the world (give or take 5 or 10 thousand
kilometers!) Who a man is is more important than his nationality, sexual
preference, religion, hair colour etc.
