The Roman Empire lasted for several centuries.  The American
Empire is not even one century old.  Europe has far more experience
than the USA when it comes to war.  Perhaps that is why European
nations were not very eager to join GWB in his mad campaign to
rid Iraq of those nasty WMD's ...

Who can challenge the US?  Certainly not Russia, whose
president would prefer to play hockey than achieving world
domination.  And certainly not China, which has a serious
shortage of women.  More likely Chinese guys will be invading
other parts of Asia in search of wanting females rather than
looking for a fight with the USA.

You right.  Americans are getting old.  So are Europeans.
And the Chinese are also aging fast.  Seems the only young
people who will be left on this planet will be Muslims in
the Middle East.  Unless they keep marching westward, as
they have these past few months, becoming Germans, Swedes,
Britons ...
