The gospel accounts are very clear on this matter.  As a scientist,
you should have no problem at all understanding.  Even though the
language used is a bit primitive compared to modern usage, there is
absolutely no doubt as to what the writers of the gospel are saying.

Two thousand years ago people had no idea as to where babies came
from.  Or rather, how babies were made.  All they knew was that
every so often a woman became fatter than usual, and out popped
a baby.  They had no idea as to how this happened.  Only that it
did.

Anyway, it was not until the 19th century, or maybe the early
20th century, not really sure exact year, that man finally found
out about genetics.  And genetics proves beyond reasonable doubt
that Jesus was a woman - assuming the gospel accounts are true.

Human life begins when sperm meets ovum, becoming a zygote.
That is what is meant by life begins at moment of conception.

Of ccurse, the writers of the gospel had absolutely no idea
of conception, or anything at all about genetics and inheritance.
So they concocted a story that could be taught to the masses of
people who wanted to believe a saviour had come to save them
from damnation.

I am not making any of this up.

Books and manuscripts were very rare because everything had to
be written or copied by hand.  As such, even those who were able
to read had very limited access to the gospel accounts (bible).
That is why most people were dependent on priests to read to
them what was in the holy books.

Most of the population in the world was (as now) ignorant,
uneducated, and illiterate.  Not really their fault.  Just
the way things were/are.

The priests instructed people what to believe in, as it was
the priests who read the holy books to the masses.  In order
to make sure the masses complied with what was read to them,
the priests threatened them with eternal death, using the
words found in scripture to back them up.

You see how that works?  Threaten people with eternal death,
then pass the hat and watch the coins come in.

Anyway, that is getting off the main subject.

As you know, a human has 46 chromosomes.  These chromosomes
are arranged in 23 pairs.  It is the 23rd chromosome that
determines the sex of a new person.  Now read the 23rd psalm
and learn what is says - "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall
not want."

Man, like all other mammals (at least all that I know of),
have an XY chromosome system of sex determinism.  You know
how that works.

The sex of a human (and all mammals) is determined by X and
Y chromosomes.  It is different for turtles and alligators.
But we are talking about Jesus.  And Jesus was a human (as
far as I know).

A female has two X chromosomes.
A male has one X and one Y chromosome.

The child Jesus was the product of a virgin birth.
That is clearly stated in the gospel accounts.
That means Jesus would have only the DNA of his
mother - which would be two X chromosomes.

Since there was no daddy (male) involved in the
conception of Jesus, there was no source for any
Y chromosome in order to make her a "he".

Therefore, according to the Laws of Nature -

           JESUS WAS A WOMAN
