Such as Lyndon Johnson, Bill (cigar willy) Clinton, the nigger living in public
housing, Barack O'bama?

Not while he was sitting in the White House as Prez, he didn't. At least Bush
was in the service, while his liberal contemporaries were not.

At least he served in such a capacity. Liberals such as LB Johnson, Clinton and
Obama never did.

I had a few of those myself...

I had two of those, plus my career was another deferment, which is more
important to the industry of war than Kerry's wife's ketchup factory could do
for him.

Actually, Romney was only 18yo in 1965, a time when there wasn't a need for
everyone to serve in Viet Nam. The draft didn't get hot and heavy until late
1967, which made Romney too old to be drafted. Especially with all of the then
18yo available. A student deferement at the time, meant that Mitt had a grade
level above average. Grade levels of C average meant that you lost your
'student deferment' and were quite elegible for the draft, but a higher average
(B) left you high and dry.
 
Meanwhile, Joe Biden, our current VP, avoided the draft thru academic
credentials much in the same manner as Clinton's.
 
This doesn't seem to be a crime, unless false or misleading academic
credentials were used, as in the case with Clinton's deferment.

Lee Lofatso (aka 4F) had himself incarcerated in the nut house to avoid serving
in any capacity that would require a sound mind.
 
 
PS = Romney had initially received two 2-S student deferments, then, like most
Mormon Missionaries, a 4-D ministerial deferment while in France, and then two
more student deferments. When those ran out, his high draft number (300)
ensured that he would not be selected in the December draft lottery of
1969...not to mention that he was an A student all the way thru law school.
