The first unit I got in Germany, was at least 10 years ago, and is no longer
functional,  The outside sensor still works though, so I have it sittin in a
room in the house instead now, since it has a read-out.

I guess there is cheaply made junk, and cheaply made half decent stuff, all

Well, it is after all the marketing ploy.  NEW and Improved.  They neglect to
tell you it is the packaging that is new, and only improved for their use.
