We all age.  Some of us gracefully, others not so gracefully.
But we all age.  Those who bear heavy responsibilities do seem
to age faster than others.  Perhaps this is perception, rather
than truth.

Once a politician leaves office, it seems that a great weight
has been lifted off his/her shoulders.  The person seems younger
than ever before.  Almost as if the person has found the fountain
of youth.  Perhaps this, too, is perception, rather than truth.

Jimmy Carter does not look a day over 50.  Even though he is 91.
Bill Clinton does not look a day over 40, now that he has lost
his beer gut.  Hillary Clinton does not look a day over <slap!>

That is ego.  In its most vile and evil form.  :)

There are lots of entertainers/celebrities who have big egos.
Huge egos.  Beyonce.  Kanye West.  Dee Snider (Twisted Sister).
Bono.  Courtney Love.  Justin Bieber.  Madonna.  Axl Rose.
Prince.  Gene Simmons.  Shall I continue?

The point is, we look at entertainers/celebrities like gods.
While Hillary Clinton boasts about getting the endorsement
of the Congressional Black Caucus, Bernie Sanders is ecstatic
about getting the endorsement of entertainer Harry Belafonte.

One more time -

We worship entertainers/celebrities as gods.  That is why
Donald Trump is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination,
and is likely to become the next President of the United States.
This is carnival, and he is the ringleader.  Barnum & Bailey
has come to town, and The Donald is putting on the show.
