Four of the terrorists were Pakistani.  All the others were Saudi.
Of course, there were only four hijackers as only one pilot per plane
was needed.  And one would-be hijacker survived, having been caught
before being able to take part in the activities.

Minister Louis Farrakhan claims that all the hijackers are alive and
well, probably somewhere in the Middle East, but his version of events
I find to be somewhat less than credible.

Neither GWB nor anyone in the Bush administration claimed that Saddam
Hussein or the Iraqi government had anything to do with the events of
9-11.  In 2006, GWB admitted there was no evidence supporting that
claim (of Saddam Hussein and/or the Iraqi government being involved).

GWB's reasons for invading Iraq were spelled out in his 2002 State
of the Union speech.  Listen to it, or read the transcript.  It's all
there.  Basically, he called Iraq a terror state, along with Iran and
North Korea.  He wanted to show the world the US was big and powerful,
that state-sponsored terrorism would never be tolerated, and any state
that attempted to use terrorism as a weapon would pay dearly.

What was GWB's real reason for going to war in Iraq?
He needed a bigger war than Afghanistan in order to win
a second term in office.
