I look at Fidonet as being a free association of sysops from
around the world.  No boundaries.  No zones.  Just sysops.
Others (probationary sysops) are welcome to participate.
So it is not limited to sysops-only in the strictest sense
of the word.

People come and go, sometimes in the real world, other times
in the FidoWorld.  Not many are permanent residents of either
world, but you never know.  Maybe this is the real world and
the other one is fantasy.

The issue is not about me.  It is about those who continue to act
like idiots.  Their failure to act in a mature manner reveals their
true nature.  That is all Tim is doing.  He is pulling the curtain
from the wizard, showing the wizard to be a fraud.

Tim is not destroying Fidonet, or any echoes.  The damage that was
done was done long ago, mostly by the same individuals Tim is pointing
to.  Blaming Tim for the mistakes of others is not going to solve the
problem.

Tim is free to write whatever he wants to write.  As long as it is
not illegal activity, freedom rules the day (and night).  That is my
rule.  Kinda libertarian, but it is my rule nonetheless.  Now if you
do not believe in freedom, you go right ahead and ask Tim to quit
posting messages.

Chomsky is Jewish.  Chomsky got thrown out of Israel for having
met with dissidents in the West Bank.  The Israeli government did
not let that, so they told Chomsky where to go (yes, Jews really
do believe in hell).

Why do you fear truth?  Does truth make you uncomfortable?
Or maybe it is Tim's truth that makes you uncomfortable.
Truths by others might not make you so uncomfortable, so
that is okay.  Is that it?  You don't want to hear, or
read, Tim's truth.  Has to be somebody else's truth.

An Inconvenient Truth.

Tim should write a book.
