Poland was a trajedy... Grandma is very well versed in what really happened
during WWII.  She said that Hitler had planned for America what he did in
Poland.  He did not just kill Jews in Poland he murdered Jew and Non-Jew alike.

Some say that the Communist rule wasn't any better but as far as I know Russia
never had "death factories" and mass cermatoriums.  There's a lot of things not
talked about from WWII.  Some even claim that there are maps that were
recovered with where Hitler was going to build concentration camps in America.

I'm very thankful that Russia did get involved and fought with us.  If Russia
did not get involved and fight so fiercely on the eastern front things may be
different now... very different indeed.
