I don't know if my previous messages made it through as I am having terrible
feed disruption with Region 11's hub RJ Clay being down at the moment.

I did not make a blanket statement about all Canadians... and if I somehow
implied that I am horrified that you feel that way.  I do apologize for that
but I will not make any apology for how I feel about the person who used the
opportunity to politicize his views during your national anthem.  That is a
GREAT disrespect and no one should have to face that.  I was responding to my
feelings on when the singer took a moment to interject his political views into
your national anthem... I did take great offense to it and my angst was
targeted only at that sole performer... not the entirety of Canada... never in
a million years and I'm absolutely horrified that I may have came across that
way.

It ranks up there with Roseanne Barr's rendition of our national anthem where
she did a "comedy performance" instead of singing it.  In my day I performed
the same Anthem numerous times and now venues are requiring a lipsynch to a
recording of our anthem to prevent this very thing. I said many cruel things
about Rosanne after that awful ordeal too.

Anyhow Shawn, you have helped in in the past I am thankful for that.  You have
always treated me with respect, until recently and I may have very well have
deserved your anger, although that was never my intent.  I will admit in 2012 I
had a head injury that amazes the doctors that I am able to function as well as
am able to.  (I am not telling you this for your sympathy, but for your
patience) I do ask that you sometimes be patient with me as sometimes I do have
rare moments where I'm
not as coherent as usual.

I am -very- sorry you feel this way.  I truly apologize and I meant no
disrespect... I did not mean any offense towards you or Canada.  However I
stand by that the performer was a total jerk for politicizing during your
National Anthem.
