Memory is not a good indicator of truth.

Nope.  Björn remained editor/moderator of the Fidonews.
As an experiment, Björn allowed Ross to play demi-god in Zone 1.
When Ross tried to extend his misrule to Kiwiland, Björn ended
the experiment.

Nope.  Björn never bothered to "update" the echolisting after
he had elisted it upon receiving the keys of the kingdom from
the previous editor/moderator, Frank Vest.  Since no elist/
echolist has any official status in fidonet, there was no need
for Björn to keep or maintain such a silly echotag.

The issue of global warming is important for all peoples
on this planet.  Actually, for all living things, not just
people.  Nobody should be denied freedom of speech.  And
that includes Tim.  Whether you agree, or disagree, with
his views is irrelevant.  The issue is censorship.

Feel free to rant and rave all you want.  I won't stop you.

Why should he?  Everyone should have the same freedoms.
Not just some or most.  So why should Tim be denied that
freedom?  Just because you don't like what he says or
writes does not give you the right to impose your own
views on everybody (or anybody) else.

Tim was never moderated for his views.  In fact, the moderator
(Björn Felten) welcomes Tim's partipation in the Fidonews.

Ross Cassell is not the moderator of the Fidonews.
As such, he had no legitimate right to even ask a sysop
to curtail Tim's access.  The sysop was also just as
guilty, knowing that Ross Cassell was not the moderator.
That makes it a conspiracy.  With the full blessing of
the Zone 1 Coordinator, Janis Kracht.

Whatever transpired in a private email exchange happened after
Tim's access was curtailed, not before.

When challenged to produce said email, Ed Koon was unable to do so.

The issue is not Ed Koon's right to disallow Tim from using his
board.  It is about Ed Koon curtailing Tim's access to the Fidonews
based on Ross Cassell's illegitimate order for him to do so.

Roger Nelson is not Björn Felten, and can do whatever he wants
in his own echo.  I am guessing you are referring to Roger's echo,
as it could have been Janis Kracht's echo.
